"the person with a clear conscience probably has a poor memory. "

again, anonymous, why must you be everywhere? can't you have another name? one that can claim credit? anyways, this quote explains my life. I remember everything. I just know how to look the other way sometimes. for instance, I remember anytime I'd been mean to someone, and try to fix that years later. I've learned over the years though sometimes people become rough over the years and it's better to let things be.

memories are weird things. for instance, you remember things people tell you..they don't remember telling you, so you are an absolute creeper. not like that happens to me or anything. memories sometimes bring out the worst in people, such as when people remember those who have wronged them, or lost causes in relationships, or just things that are permanently changed. I think memories are great. I'm glad we are capable of having them because they remind us of lessons we have learned from each of our experiences. memories help us see and realize how much we have grown. even if the stuff isn't our favorite, it's still great to see the change and how we dealt with it. personally, that's what matters the most at the end of the day: if we are content with what we know about ourselves.

pictures are a great way of looking back. although, I will admit, as much as I like them, they are not necessary to remember things. it's just nice to recall the way people smiled together and could stand each other enough to pose for a picture. and to see how people have changed on the outside. just the outside.
