" immense brainpower does not protect you from emotional mistakes. "

is it safe to say I am in love with her? I mean I am a little upset that she revealed my world to the rest of the world, but I guess people can wish they could be harry potter's best friend like me. she is right. of course she is talking about dumbledore, but I am talking about every smart person I know.
they don't teach you how to be a good friend, daughter, girlfriend, or sister in school. only life teaches you that. only your mistakes teach you that. only wanting the best for somebody else can teach you that. I'll admit it's difficult. when I was younger, my sister hated venting to me because I always told her she was wrong or defied her. it was only when she told me what she truly needed me for to fix her mood that I realized, sometimes listening is more than enough. when couples fight, parents and children fight, friends fight, it's all over a misunderstanding a lot of the time. people who love each other never intend on hurting. it just takes time to learn how to make less emotional mistakes down the road, but everyone eventually learns. nobody ever lives a lonely life..at least not for their whole life. time fixes everything, they say. why? because within time people figure out why mistakes were made. why those decisions could even be called mistakes.

it's safe to say, once it becomes automatic to avoid those mistakes, life becomes much more pleasant. not on just a daily basis, but a lifetime basis.
