but I know you very well

" patience is passion tamed. "
-- lyman abbott

that's an interesting way to look at it. it's difficult to realize the effect passion has on people...especially since passion comes in different forms. you can be passionately angry, passionately in love, passionately upset, passionately interested...etc. I for one can say I am passionate, but extremely impatient. I hate surprises, I hate the suspense. I hate waiting. sometimes I forget how immature I can be, because being impatient sometimes goes hand in hand with being inconsiderate. it's only easy to see once you're in that boat. everybody needs somebody who tames them, yet allows them to break free without any consequences.

passion is necessary. as is patience. sometimes patience makes or breaks a person's limits. sometimes it can be argued that passion sets the standard for those limits. without passion, would you have gone that far? would that be as memorable as you think it is? would you do it again?

I think you would. if you're patient enough to let the passion rekindle, however long that takes.
