" ignorance and inconsideration are the two great causes of the ruin of mankind. "
-- john tillitson

now that is definitely true. except does he mean ignorance followed by inconsideration or just those two individually? I mean, definitely, both are terrible on their own, but is it better than somebody be unaware of the problem when they refuse to fix it? sometimes I wonder if it's better for somebody to be blind of their flaws when they're irreparable rather than be aware and incapable of fixing them, thus being unintentionally inconsiderate. I mean sometimes people excuse someone's behavior as something of which they don't understand or even know. because if they did know, they would change it. right? probably, if the change would be for the better. and it depends on what "better" means. better could mean happier, healthier, nicer. it could also mean unhappier, unhealthier, more bitter. if only this could be universal, instead of this case-by-case basis.

there needs to be an understanding, communication in order for some sort of structure to exist. and hopefully that can happen. unless you like the never-ending cycle of misunderstandings. hey, some people do.
