out of this world man, I'm so sci-fi

" everything looks perfect from far away. "
-- postal service

usually people pick and choose what they want seen from far away, or the outside. it seems like the smarter thing to do..you know, keeping your dirty laundry in the fenced backyard rather than your wide, open front lawn. it's not necessary for people to know your petty problems or insignificant insecurities, but what about when they do? would you feel embarrassed? don't. unless of course you are the one who made the laundry dirty, you honestly need not feel lesser than anyone else. and even then, everybody gets their share of untidy doings.

everybody puts out a front. everyone. how many times have you been upset or known somebody else is going through tough times and their response is "I'm good! how are you"? there must be a reason for that to be an instant response for almost everyone. either way, you can't be dimwitted enough to not realize everybody has their fair share of troubles. how do you avoid becoming one? by acting like a human. sure, some people do deserve mistreatment since they themselves dish it out beyond reason; but others are honestly just misunderstood. how many times have you been in a fight with someone, and their qualities you normally love became qualities that add fuel to the fire? and how many times have you tried making up for it, because you figured out you're human, not perfect?

all you really can do is look at yourself and your own problems and open your mind; because everything does look perfect from far away, life is a lot better when it's not happening to you..but here's the spoiler alert: it's always happening and always will be.
