the one.
I think we get closer and closer to finding the one we all look for; and that could be anybody. sometimes it could be a lifelong companion, sometimes it can be your own identity...a lot of the times it means both, however little we realize it.
we surround ourselves with different types of people for various reasons, right? sometimes we want to see our worst sides and challenge them. sometimes we want to feel always at our best, but the reason we have different people around is because we can't feel everything all at once. it's nice feeling recognized, even more it's nice to be understood.
so how do we know who to look for? more importantly, how do we know what to look for? ever think we look at people because they have certain qualities, not solely because it's a risk?
let me make it more simple: people need to be interested..and we know which components of a person intrigue us and why...but do we know if it's right? do we know if it's the one intrigue we want? usually when we find out, it's too late. and that's how we learn.
I think I'm getting closer to finding the one. I'm sure my idea of the one will change over and over, but chances are so will that person. things tend to work out because people learn to accept, but what if in some cases it never had to be learned? what if what we thought people need to accept was actually what people want to expect? it's easy to underestimate people just as much as ourselves, and that's only important to remember if you don't like surprises.
